The biggest family lakeside event, Roast and Rhyme is returning this Sunday, June 30 at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.

Organized by Swangz Avenue, the 10th edition of this event will be held under the theme ‘Story Telling’ and reveler will enjoy their favorite bits on the lakeside, while listening to original story compositions from Uganda’s top story tellers.

This edition will also feature music performances from artistes that include Jose Chameleone, Tamba, and Sam Kimera among others.

Joylor Birungi, the PRO of Swangz Avenue alleged that this event will cater for all age groups and parents are free to come with their children for fun.

“Come and have a good time with your friends and family while chilling by the lake side roasting your Nyama Choma as you enjoy Live Music performance by Uganda’s best Story Teller” she stated.

This will be the second edition of Roast and Rhymes to be held under the theme ‘Story telling’, as the fourth edition was also held under the same theme, and it featured music performances from Ykee Benda, Kenneth Mugabi and Naava Grey.

While on a local radio station on Friday, Birungi disclosed that given the good experience that party people received during the fourth edition, they decided to return the theme, and that this time round it’s going to be bigger and better.

According to organizers, tickets to the venue will be sold at Shs50,000 and gates will be open by 11:00am.
