Geosteady believes NRM’s Bebe Cool does not share musical contacts because he is selfish

BlackMan Town CEO, George Kigozi commonly known as Geosteady has pinned fellow artiste Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool for being ‘selfish’ especially when it comes to lending a hand to fellow musicians.

Geosteady’s comment came after Sheila Gashumba shared a tweet of Bebe Cool’s song ‘Nkuliyo’ as it played on Trace Africa Television.

“Only Bebe Cool music playing at Trace Africa, Uganda to the world,” the former NTV the Beat presenter tweeted.

However, according to the Owoma singer, it would be ‘Uganda to the World’ if the Gagamel boss shares notes on what other musicians can do to get their music played on these international channels.

“I wish he could share the logic behind and which emails/numbers to contact and how to do it?? At least if we have a good number of videos from Uganda playing there then it would be ‘UGANDA TO THE WORLD” he posted.

Few artistes such as Bebe, Eddy Kenzo and sometimes Navio, Big Trill and Sheebah have had their music played on international television stations, but they allegedly don’t share notes on how they do it.

During his ‘State of the Music Address’ with Miles Rwamiti on Spark TV’s Koona show, Bebe Cool claimed that the Uganda music industry can only surpass that of Nigeria, if artistes work together, and also remove politics from music.
