The proprietor of Galaxy FM tycoon Innocent Nahabwe has called upon the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Jennifer Musisi to quickly abolish all street kids from the city before it’s too late.
Furious Nahabwe raised his concern after ‘donating’ a shs500 coin to a ‘lousy’ street kid and in return the disgruntled kid just scratched his car in protest for giving him only that amount of money. The kid went ahead to attempt remove his side mirror citing that he will use it to buy something to eat.
The incident happened at Jinja Road Traffic Lights as police officers looked on.
The businessman urged Musisi to redeploy the KCCA enforcement team to clear off all the criminals in the making from the streets before people are eaten alive.
Nahabwe posted on Facebook;
I am sorry for bothering you again. I write to apologize for being mad at how #KCCA enforcement officers handle street kids. I thought all along, they are innocent victims of fate.
Today, i got a shock of my life at the Jinja Rd Traffic lights. A teenage looking street kid with blood shot eyes, came to the car in the morning jam and asked for money… i gave the chap a 500 coin. He threatened me that how can i give him 500. When i shouted at him to go away, he used the coin to scratch my car. He then attempted to remove my side mirror saying he will use it to buy something tosomething to eat. I was lucky the lights went green at that moment.
The police were looking on as this was happening. I am sure if it was Kcca enforcement, this criminal in the making would have run for dear life.
Nankulu, please help clear these kids off the streets. As they grow, it will be too late. We will be eaten alive.
Thank you. Meanwhile, We are waiting for the carnival. Oba which ka dress will you slay?
