ONC Manager donates Accommodation assortments to Excel Vocational Training Centre following the fire outbreak in May

She expressed empathy to the  administration of Exel  about the adversity of the fire outbreak that destroyed millions of properties and asked God to eliminate such evil-hearted people fighting development.

The Office of the National Chairman Manager Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo donated accommodation materials to Excel Vocational Training Centre in Kalule – Luwero district.

The institution  faced the adversity of a fire outbreak on 30th May 2023 and dormitories of the students destroyed along with millions of personal properties of the students who were attending lectures.

The Director Mr Mwanje Shafik who is also the Chairman of Endorsements for the Jajja Tova Ku Main project under the Office of the National Chairman said that the school has a population of 212o students. “Majority of them come from underprivileged families.

He said that several entities are coming out to extend support to the school after the tragedy and they are motivated to keep focused on equipping the Bazzukulu Ba Museveni with skills to enable them to create jobs and self-employment.

During he address Hajjat Namyalo told the students that “A person with a talent or skill is 50% far better than someone who has acquired a university knowledge with skills”. She added that “President Museveni emphasizes to boost the skilling of Youth because it is an assured approach to solve unemployment through self-employment based on the skills possessed by an individual

She expressed empathy to the  administration of Exel  about the adversity of the fire outbreak that destroyed millions of properties and asked God to eliminate such evil-hearted people fighting development.

“I have brought some accommodation items for you,  100 blankets, 50 mattresses and 30 bags of cement as a response to the tragedy and we look forward to acquiring more support to enable you having a safe learning environment,” Namyalo added.

She cited the network of Presidential skilling hubs spread all over different regions to intensify the equipment of skills to the Youth in addition to the seed secondary schools per sub-county and technical schools established in most of the sub-regions.

Hajjat Hadijah thanked Mr Mwanje and Excel Vocational Training Centre Management for offering bursary support to the Bazzukulu Ba Museveni who are needy and asked them to carry on.

She also used the opportunity to invite all the Bazzukulu Ba Museveni at Excel Vocational Training Centre to Kololo Independence Grounds on the 8th of September this year 2023 —to celebrate the lifetime achievements of the National Chairman HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni under the theme “Developing the culture of entrepreneurship in youth, women and the country at large”.

Mwanje thanked Namyalo for the good contribution and assured her that they are to keep focused as the Management to achieve bigger goals than minding the evil-hearted individuals

Excel Vocational Training Centre has a life of 17 years in service and has made 11 graduation ceremonies with the most recent passing out 1327 graduates in different disciplines under the Vocational Studies arrangement and has created jobs for several Youths after their graduation.
