President Yoweri Museveni also Commander In Chief of the armed forces has promoted 1,393 Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) officers.
The promoted officers include but not least; the army Deputy spokesperson Lt Col Deo Akiiki, State House’s Anti Corruption Unit head Lt Edith Nakalema and Lt Col Charles Oluka, the Internal Security Organization (ISO) Director General. All those have been promoted to the rank of Colonel.
