President Yoweri Museveni has advised the people of Uganda to take full advantage of the prevailing countrywide peace that was ushered in by the NRM Government to develop their God-given talents.

“I urge the people in the country to utilize all the opportunities in talent development that can be identified under NRM leadership so that those talents can be usefully developed,” he said.

The President was last evening (Thursday 5th December 2019) addressing a gathering of drama and entertainment fans at La Bonita Theatre in Kampala when popular artiste Dr. Bbosa (Mr. Sam Bagenda) of Ebonies drama group celebrated his legacy on stage and television for the last 33 years.

Mr. Museveni donated Shs.100 million towards further development of the Ebonies group in their educative drama and entertainment.

“What you have shown today is what I have been missing in the last 55 years. I used to be active in this industry and Scripture Union. But since I joined political struggle in 1965 for this country, I have been missing such shows that are educative to society,” he said.

Dr. Bbosa appreciated the well wishers for turning up in big numbers as he celebrated his 33rd anniversary in drama adding that he was overwhelmed by the President’s presence along with State Minister for Works, Katumba Wamala, Prince David Wasajja and Rotarians, among others.

Pastor Wilson Bugembe of Light the World Ministries commended NRM Government for freedom of worship and peaceful political environment in the country.
