As the saying goes, it will be ‘Parte after Parte’, once again as the biggest family lakeside event, Roast and Rhyme returns for its 11th edition.

Organised by Swangz Avenue under the theme ‘Thanks Giving’, Roast and Rhyme shall be happening this Sunday, October 27 at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.

“This Sunday, bring your family to have a good time by the lakeside. Remember!! Entrance for kids below 10 years is absolutely free. Bring your grilling stove and meat to roast, we shall provide you with charcoal, fire and free 2 liters of Coca Cola,’ Swangz Avenue posted.

This Thanks Giving edition, sponsored by Bell Lager will have revelers enjoy their favorite bites by the lakeside, while giving thanks to God through music.

Organizers further promised a memorable live music experience from Ugandan performers, board games and two liter of Coca Cola for families that are going to roast meats.

According to Jaylor Birungi, the Public Relations officer of this event, gates to the venue shall be opened at 11:00 am. Also, early bird tickets go for Shs50,000 but this offer will be ending this Saturday, thereafter tickets shall go for Shs70,000 at the gate.

Besides the cool lineup of fun filled picnic activities for the grownups, there is also a lot organised for children – from face painting to bouncy castles, camel rides among others.
