A pregnant woman working at a Mbale- based coffee company has been allegedly suspended for denying one of her bosses sex.

Rehema Wanale was suspended without pay for failing to adhere to the phone instructions of her yet to be identified bosss.

According to the suspension letter dated 23rd June, Rehema has been suspended without pay for failing to adhere to the instructions given to her by her boss on phone.

“This is to inform you that due to your misconduct on duty, failure to respect your superior’s recommendations and directives given to you on phone…………. By the authority entrusted in me, I suspend you for one month without pay until Human Resource handles your case,” the suspension letter dated 23rd June read in parts.

However, according to local online news site Daily Inspector, Wanale’s suspension was an act of revenge fro refusing to sleep with her boss.

The WhatsApp screenshots seen by this website show the boss bragging that the pregnant employee was kicked out of the company because she denied him sex adding that it is not just a suspension but she will never return to the workplace.

A source that preferred a condition of anonymity said two other female staffs have so far resigned after over the same issue of sexual advances from bosses at the company.

“Four girls have confessed that bosses asked to have sex with them, in fact two of them have resigned.”
