The Special Forces Command (SFC) has poured scorn on allegations that it has in custody music promoter Andrew Mukasa alias Bajjo Events.

On Saturday, security operatives allegedly belonging to SFC arrested Mukasa at a press conference in Kampala.

The music promoter was picked from City Bar located at Centenary Park in Kampala; the soldiers dragged him in a waiting van which sped off to unknown destination.

According to Daily Monitor, Mukasa in conjunction with Abby Musinguzi, the proprietor of Abtex Productions, were announcing their plan to organise a People Power Marathon to collect money to support Mr Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, and orphans whose parents have died during the ongoing People Power struggle.

However, Maj Jimmy Omara, the SFC Spokesperson has said they have not carried out any operation in regarding the matter.

“There is some news making rounds on social media about an alleged arrest of Mr. Andrew Mukasa a music promoter. SFC has not carried out any operation in regard to what is being peddled. This is baseless and malicious. Please ignore it with the utmost contempt it deserves,” asserted Maj Omara.
