Sarajoy Bakanansa, a Human Rights Activist and Marketing consultant affiliated to People Power Movement has said it is impossible for Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to tame self appointed People Power Activists who are not on his payroll.

CAN BOBI WINE TAME THE SELF APPOINTED PEOPLE POWER ACTIVISTS WHO ARE NOT ON HIS PAY ROLL? THE ANSWER IS NO FOR NOW, YES AFTER POWER IS TAKEN FROM THE HANDS OF PRESIDENT MUSEVENI.Those who have tested the wrath, bitterness and insults of the self-appointed People Power activists have kept demanding that Bobi Wine ‘tames them’.How do you start asking a man to tame people he never appointed, he never pays, independent minds, people who are disappointed and desperate for change, angry and bitter with the sitting government. Most of the activists who are giving sleepless nights to all those who attack Bobi Wine live abroad, have good access to internet, have freedom of speech, disappointed like many others, left Uganda to go and search for better opportunities though they would have loved to stay home and enjoy the motherland.I applaud the EKYOOTO team they financed their own website and doing the civic duty of awakening Ugandans from the deep sleep of 33 years. They keep the conversation for change going in most cases it could have died off last year. Share information on Whatsapp groups, translate it in all languages etc. Most of them have never met Bobi Wine but love the cause and in their own right, they want to add a voice to the cause. They are not afraid to speak out, live in countries where there is freedom of speech and rule of law, have tested good governance and good service delivery. Have jobs, earn decently and they are voluntarily adding a voice to the liberation of Uganda.President Museveni and his sympathizers have failed to penetrate into this lot because they love what they are doing and money is not their problem. They are more interested in having new leadership because majority of them have only seen one president. The norm in Uganda’s politics has always been when you voice your grievances and dissatisfaction with the sitting government, you are paid off. This works for some activists back home. Definitely some will be bought off but don’t blame them some are jobless, others their businesses are threatened day and night so they will give in and collect the money hence shutting up.The diaspora team don’t feed from Museveni’s hands, they get the best service delivery when they need it, and employment is not an issue. No one is going to fire them for opposing the sitting government in fact they could be recognized for that. These are the real thrones in the backside. Some will say they are not voters but you can’t take their role in the struggle lightly. They offer their time unsparingly, have opened up many eyes of those back at home through their political debates, energized the brothers and sisters back home and kept the struggle floating and financially support the struggle. Many strong leaders have come and gone but we must agree all of them lacked the Kyagulanyi effect. The internet warriors who have kept the fire burning. The president once mentioned that by 2021 there will be no political parties but I can assure you, the People power movement will be stronger coz it has determined self appointed, freelance activists who are not looking for the brown envelope but desperate to see change come to Uganda even if it means financing it with the little they have.We are all desperate for change. And the end justifies the means. The political scenery is too dirty that propaganda and blackmail will take centre stage but again politics is not for the faint hearted. Unless you dont follow international politics but the Hillary Clinton and Trump campaigns propaganda and blackmail took centre stage yet USA is a first world country.  Uganda is a dead state, indiscipline and impunity runs from the top to the bottom, dont ask desperate people to act differently when all they see and know is indiscipline. We need a government overhaul to create a country we will all enjoy to live in.Assistant Iron Lady Sarajoy Bakanansa Omubwati

Posting on her Facebook Page on Thursday, Bakanansa said Bobi Wine cannot tame independent minded people he never appointed or paid.

She revealed that all these self appointed People Power activists are disappointed and desperate for change, angry and bitter with incumbent NRM government and they can only become manageable when President Yoweri Museveni leaves power.

“Those who have tested the wrath, bitterness and insults of the self-appointed People Power activists have kept demanding that Bobi Wine ‘tames them’.

“Most of the activists who are giving sleepless nights to all those who attack Bobi Wine live abroad, have good access to internet, have freedom of speech, disappointed like many others, left Uganda to go and search for better opportunities though they would have loved to stay home and enjoy the motherland,” said Bakanansa.

She further noted that most of these activists have never met Bobi Wine but they love the cause and want to add a voice to it.

“They are not afraid to speak out, live in countries where there is freedom of speech and rule of law, have tested good governance and good service delivery. Have jobs, earn decently and they are voluntarily adding a voice to the liberation of Uganda.”

“President Museveni and his sympathizers have failed to penetrate into this lot because they love what they are doing and money is not their problem. They are more interested in having new leadership because majority of them have only seen one president.”
