Besigye names his cabinet, Lukwago, Ssemujju, Salaamu eat big

Dr Kizza Besigye, former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party President has named his new cabinet for the ‘People’s government’.

The four time presidential candidate unveiled his cabinet on Thursday.

In January 2018, Besigye said ‘People’s government’ would swear into office people that will constitute it, as part of the ‘tubalemese’ campaign aimed at awakening Ugandans and intensifying the process of organizing the citizenry to take back their power.

“This government will be at district, regional and national level. We shall publish dates for the inauguration of the different bodies,” Besigye told journalists.

Among the appointed include Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who was named Deputy President, Proscovia Salaamu Musumba who was named Prime Minister opposition Chief Whip Ibrahim Semujju Nganda as her deputy.
