President Yoweri Museveni today is going to commission the newly built Mulago specialized Women and neonatal Hospital.
The hospital, which has been under construction since 2013, is a 400-bed facility. Its construction was been financed by a loan from the Islamic Development Bank.
It offers specialized treatment for high-risk antenatal care, delivery and postnatal services and gynecology services.
Others include surgical, ureteric re-implantation, complex fistula surgeries and vaginal hysterectomies reconstruction after female genital mutilation.
