The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Okoth Martins Ochola has refuted claims that they have arrested Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine.
Talking to a local media station, Ochola said nobody arrested Bobi Wine instead police is simply escorting him.
“Nobody has arrested Bobi Wine, we are simply escorting him,” said Ochola.
However, earlier today, Bobi Wine was arrested by security operatives as he stepped out of Kenya Airways plane at Entebbe International Airport.
He was whisked away in a police vehicle and he is currently at Kasangati Police Station.
