Police in kisoro district is investigating circumstances that brought an accident which claimed one life.
Kisoro police registered this fatal accident under file number TAR 34/2018.
The accident Occurred last weekend at Kisoro round about. It was involving Motor vehicle registration number UAQ296E Isuzu forward whose unknown driver disappeared immediately after the accident and Motorcycle registration number UEO 935 M bajaj boxer whose rider Mr Robert Tumushiime, 39 of Rwabara village Murora subcounty Kisoro district died on spot.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson says that Police visited the scene as soon as possible and the body was taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Both the motor vehicle and motorcycle were taken to police station as inquiries continue to establish the cause of the fatal accident.
The deceased was the manager Mubuga sacco within Kisoro municipality.
