Kansanga based beach soccer club KIU has widened its chances of winning the national beach soccer league for the first time.
This comes after KIU Bsc winning Mengo hospital Bsc on 3:0 in a math that stood among many to showcase fan at Lido beach Entebbe.
Team coach Akabwai Geoffrey said that they have waited for long to be where they are and they shall not leave any stone unturned in their quest to win the title..
“We are trained and fit. I know this time is for KIU,”noted Akabwai.
He added that inspite of the many challenges that are faced by the team,they are not set to give up.
On this note Akabwai warned all the referees who handle league games to be fair as the laws of the game state.
“We follow the motto,My game is fair play. But some referees do the opposite” he lamented.
