KCCA FC CEO Josephine Namukisa and Manager Mike Mutebi have traveled to Cairo, Egypt for the draws of the CAF Champions League group stages.
The pair traveled on Tuesday 20th March 2018 aboard Ethiopian Airlines. and landed in Cairo, Egypt on the afternoon of Wednesday 21st March.
The draw for the CAF Champions League group stages will be held on 21/03/2018 at Ritz -Calton hotel in Cairo, Egypt and the group stages games start on 4th May 2018
Manager Mike Mutebi gave his views about the draws shortly before he left for Egypt and said;
We are ready for any team that we will get in the draw, this is a growth path for the players because they will face the big boys with rich history on the continent but on the pitch it will be different. To get to this point we expected to rub shoulders with the big boys. We have to front our case no matter who is given to us. We are the novices in these draws but as an emerging force we will surprise a few.
