Two armed robbers have been put out of action and one loaded SMG riffle recovered today by police officers from Bweyogerere.
The robbers had attacked a business lady identified as Josephine Agaba Rwabyooma at her work place and slit her throat with a knife fleeing with her money shs 180.000 and USD 100 note.
They later hijacked a motor vehicle from a nearby garage and tried to flee the scene .
Luckily enough, police was informed and they were followed as they headed towards Jokas.
Due to jam ,they abandoned the vehicle and hijacked a motorcycle from the owner at gunpoint.
Officers pursued them and put them out of action at industrial park Namanve during cross fire exchange.
They also recovered a bag with sharp knives, gloves and head masks.
The two bodies have Been taken to mulago mortuary.
