Mozwey Radio demise: Courageous Catholic priest tells off celebrities ; quit drugs, use your fame, little money well

A youthful catholic priest has been lauded as a true messenger of God for using the requiem mass for singer Mowzey Radio to send celebrities a strong spiritual, moral and life message about the manner they live their lives.

When most people are silent about their conduct of celebrities especially in public places, Rev Fr Deogratius Kateregga Kiibi advised celebrities to handle their fame and “little” money with responsibility.

The Director Information for Kampala Archdiocese said at Rubaga Cathedral on Friday afternoon that, “You should stop using drugs, stop living extravagant lives, stop abandoning your wives, stop engaging in unnecessary fights.”
The priest who didn’t condemn the deceased singer but focused his message on his friends and fans gathered for the service reminded them of their responsibility to live their lives with humility and with dignity.
Fr Kateregga also asked celebrities to go to church regularly instead of being brought there when they are dead in the “coffins”.

The message of the priest has been well received by the general public saying this was the truth celebrities needed to hear at this point in time when their friend and star has denied at the tender age of 34 after a brawl in a bar during a drunken stupor.

The R&B singer, part of the GoodLyfe duo, was pronounced dead on Thursday morning at Case Hospital.
The news went around the country like wild fire shocking hundreds of his fans.
On Friday, artists have organized a vigil for the singer at Kololo airtrip, where music will be played till morning, before his body is laid to rest at Kagga-Nakawuka in Entebbe, Wakiso district.
