Four men have been killed in Kicope village, Owinja division, in Lira municipality after they were suspected of breaking into a saloon.

David Ongom Mudong the Police Spokesperson for North Kyoga confirmed the incident and said that another man who was part of the group is admitted to Lira.

He says preliminary investigation indicates that the victims broke into a saloon on Friday morning around 3am before they were rounded up by a mob and lynched.

Mudong says three mobile phones and one solar panel have been recovered. The Solar panel is said to be not belonging to the saloon hence the suspicion that it was stolen from some other place.

He however noted that police condemns mob justice.
