The Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances under which a 15 year old girl stabbed a man to death.

The suspect has been identified as Praise Anyijukire.

According to Regional Police Spokesman Elly Matte, the deceased identified as Jackson Katashaya was stabbed in self defense at 4am of Friday morning when he went to Kakuru’s bar in Ihimbi Cell, Rutoma Ward, Kiyora Trading Center, Northern Division in Kabale Municipality. Having forced the suspect to open, the deceased allegedly wanted to force her into sex.

It is against the above background that acting in self defense, Anyijukire stabbed Katashaya with a knife, ending his life.

Having committed the offense, Anyijukire reported himself to Kabale Police Station vide CRB 2900/2017 as further inquiries go on.

The body has meanwhile been taken to Kabale Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
