Anti- age limit removal MP Ibrahim Semujju Nganda seems not ready to give up on fighting the age limit bill in whatever way possible.

After completing his three parliament sitting suspension, Kira Municipality MP is back with full force; this time round with not a red ribbon but with a full red suit, tie and cap as a sign of opposing the contentious age limit bill.

Hill Water

Last week, a number of defiant MPs putting on just red ribbons were denied entry into parliament so we are not sure if honourable Semujju will be granted access into the chambers with his red suit.

Last week, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga suspended 25 MPs who allegedly participated in a fracas which saw the House being adjourned the next day.

The suspended MPs, mostly Opposition legislators opposed to the scrapping of Article 102 (b) from the Constitution that bars people who are above 75 years from contesting for presidency, have however, refused to vacate the Chambers forcing Ms Kadaga to suspend the Sitting.

Those suspended, among others; were Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine (Kyaddondo East), MP Allan Ssewanyana (Makindye West),  Monica Amoding (Kumi District), Dr Sam Lyomoki (Workers) Betty Nambooze (Mukono Municipality) Ibrahim Kasozi (Makindye East) ,Ibrahim Semujju (Kira Municipality) and  Moses Kasibante (Rubaga North).
