Police have on Thursday morning recovered a six-months-old baby who had been taken away by kidnappers 5 days ago.
The baby was found at Garden City at 7:30am, where it was “abandoned” by three suspected kidnappers, according to Kampala Metropolitan spokesman SSP Emilian Kayima.
The suspects are: Agatha Chandiru, 26, her sister Vanessa Akello Gloria, 25, and Tom Kulle , 32.
The baby whose identity police did not reveal, disappeared on September 21.
Scovia Angaika is the mother of the baby, and they reside in Kasokoso, Wakiso District.
The two lady suspects come from the same area.
Kayima Emillian in a statement said the suspects have been taken to Nakawa court.
