High Court Judge Yasin Nyanzi has again declined to grant bail to murder suspect Matthew Kanyamunyu.
This is the third time in a row that the court is refusing to give Kanyamunyu bail.
Today he appeared before Justice Nyanzi challenging the earlier grounds on which he was denied bail, among them the fear that he might interfere with the investigations.
However, the judge still declined to release him, since he raised the same claims as he had in the previous failed bail applications.
The other two suspects- Cynthia Munwangari and Joseph Kanyamunyu were in March this year granted bail.
Prosecution alleges that the three suspects on 12 November, 2016, while on Kampala-Jinja road near Malik Car Bond opposite Uganda Manufacturers Association showground in Nakawa Division, with malice aforethought, caused the death of child rights activist Kenneth Akena by shooting.
