President Yoweri Museveni has downplayed all people blaming poor roads as a main hindrance in development.
While canvassing support for NRM candidate Isaac Etuka ahead of Upper Madi parliamentary by-election, Museveni said development is good but creating wealth for yourself is more helpful adding that the roads may not be very good but a pig cannot refuse to be taken to Nebbi for sale because of poor roads.
“The roads may not be very good but can a pig refuse to be taken to Nebbi for sale because roads are bad? Development is good but creating wealth for yourself is more helpful,” Museveni stated.
