Cecilia Ogwal: In Uganda if you’re not corrupt, then you’re not normal

Dokolo Woman MP Cecilia Ogwal has said that corruption is the true definition of a true Ugandan.

While appearing on NBS TV’s Topical Discussion show today morning , the opposition chief whip said if a person is not corrupt in Uganda then he /she is not normal.

“Corruption is an institutionalized practice in other wards In Uganda if you’re not corrupt, then you are not normal. You must be corruption compliant,” Ogwal said.

“It is an institutional practice whereby you have to comply in order to maintain your job and these are some of the cancers eating our nation and we know it but there’s nothing we can do about it,” she added.
