Fufa president Eng. Moses Magogo has become the first Ugandan to be appointed on the CAF executive committee following the developments from the ongoing CAF Congress in Manama, Bahrain.
Magogo had earlier, in March 2017, lost a bid to Djibouti’s FA boss Suleiman Hassan Waberi for the central East zone spot to the Executive Committee.
Magogo’s appointment means he is the first Ugandan to be named on the CAF Executive Committee and he will serve for a cycle 2017-2021.
“In recognition of the progress of football development in Uganda and contribution towards African football; At the CAF Congress in Manama Bahrain, I have been appointed a member of the CAF Executive Committee 2017 – 2021 and a member of the CAF Reforms Committee,” Magogo posted on his social media.
