Police spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi has been gunned down by unknown assailants.
Kaweesi who has been holding portfolios of spokesman and director of human resources, was killed on Friday morning as he left his home in Kulambiro in Kampala.
He was killed together with his bodyguards.
Kaweesi has been handling sensitive dockets and one of Gen Kale Kayihura’s blue eyed officers.
The killing of AIGP Kaweesi is an attack on Uganda’s police force and security apparatus which has been represented by Kaweesi in several fora.
