The Pepsi beach soccer league becomes more competitive day by day with weaker clubs becoming stronger.

On Sunday, the universities in the race KIU and MUBS managed to get the same score on the score board as they both had a result of 7:5 goals against their opponents.

According to Miss Phoebe Kutamba, the league manager, the game is becoming more competitive with teams that showed to be weak improving day by day.

“It is a surprise that weaker teams are improving every match day that goes on” Phoebe said.

Kabalagala Rangers managed to win 6:2 against stormers in a dramatic game that left the fans laughing with Gonzaga Gonza, the goal keeper for the rangers who showed to be doing less work at the play ground.

“I don’t even know why I came, there were no balls coming to me. May be it’s the reason why they managed to get those 2 goals” says Gonzaga.

Talent end lost 3:6 to Muteesa 1 royal university as  MS LIONS had their first win in the season as they played Mengo hospital with a tight win of 5:4.

YMCA did not respect their schoolmates IUEA as they managed to smash them 11 :2 goals.

According to the team manager of KIU ,Mr Joshua Kashaija, the team has improved and they know once they go through the group stages, no one will stop them.

“We are only waiting to get through the group stages. once we get to the next stage, let the opponents wait for blood” Joshua elucidates.

The league continues next weekend with Kalyowa Emmanuel of st Laurence firghting hard to go to the top slot of the scoring sheet.
