Since Saturday morning, some people have been moving around announcing retired Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo dead.

However, according to the information we have exclusively received indicates that the archbishop is still alive and kicking and he is responding positively to the treatment.

Hill Water

Currently, Nkoyoyo is in Central London receiving medical assistance. He was rushed to UK after his health deteriorated due to cancer of the throat.

The doctors and family are very optimistic that he’s on steady course to recovery.

According to Geoffrey Lutaaya, on behalf of the Archbishop’s family they remain convinced that God will continue to heal Archbishop Nkoyooyo. And that the devil and his agents will be revealed for who they’re: liars and sadists.

Full statement from Lutaaya

Brethren,

I write to confirm that the Rtd. Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyooyo is ALIVE and well as can be expected of one undergoing medical treatment.

We have noted with great sadness malicious, unfounded and distressing rumours of the passing of the Rtd. Archbishop Nkoyooyo on social media. Please treat such rumours with the contempt they deserve – the Archbishop is ALIVE.

We remain convinced that God will continue to heal Archbishop Nkoyooyo. And that the devil and his agents will be revealed for who they’re: liars and sadists.

We ask that you continue to pray for a steady and full revovery of the Rtd. Archbishop.

Geoffrey Lutaaya

For, and on behalf of the family of Rtd. Archbishop Livingston Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo
