Another Uganda Revenue official, Paul Ojambo said he was rewarded with shs29.5 million for photocopying papers needed for the case and working beyond 5 o’clock.

Last month COSASE started probing into the shs6 billion oil money which was shared amongst  42 senior government officials after their alleged role in a capital gains tax dispute, in which the Ugandan government was awarded a total of $700m.

COSASE chairperson, Abdu Katuntu adjourned the meeting to Friday this week where officials from the Ministry of Energy are expected.
