Uganda Cranes winger, William Luwagga Kizito says he will not play for Ugada Cranes again if Milutin Sredojevic a.k.a Micho is still the head coach of the national football team.

The Portugal-based star has had a fractious relationship with national team boss Micho Sredojevic and announced his international retirement on Monday 30, January 2017 as he left the country.

Luwagga, who plays for Rio Ave in Portuguese Primera Liga, said Micho cannot handle players like him.

“He can’t handle players with my style because he doesn’t like it. National team is not my home and Uganda has a lot of good players,” Luwagga said.

“He will choose others and play but apologising to someone who is killing my talent and career is like betraying my soul. I even regret why I came (for Afcon),” he added.

On his return to the XI against Mali, Luwaga refused to shake Massa & Micho’s hands upon being substituted. There is rumour that Luwagga will be banned the national team but confirms he hasn’t received official communication from FUFA.

“I have not officially received any communication banning me from the national team but Micho knows the big issue between us although he can’t say it,” Luwagga said.
