Cranes captain Geoffrey Massa has said he can still play beautiful football and that was the reason he won’t retire from the national team any time soon.
Massa was joined by Tony Mawejje another Cranes star who didn’t have a good form during the Africa cup of nations 2017 tournament which is going on in Gabon.
Cranes picked a point in its group which also had Ghana, Egypt and Mali, but it came last in the group.

Massa, the team striker faced most criticism from Cranes fans having failed to find the back of the net. It took individual brilliance of Farouk Miya to give Cranes the much needed goal and point to save national pride.
Massa says he still enjoys playing for the national team, and he has a lot to teach young players.
“As long as the coach believes in me, I will continue playing,” Massa said. “Fans cannot stop me from playing for Cranes”, said Massa who last for Uganda in 2015 against Botswana.
On his side Mawejje says fans demand that leaves the team when you have a bad game but change suddenly when you get victory.
Massa and Mawejje both said they’re focusing on taking Uganda to the world cup in Moscow. Uganda still has to play against Ghana and Egypt to get the ticket to Moscow.
