Fresh Kid threatens to leave Uganda to avoid the drug check up

It’s clear that the State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi and rapper Patrick Senyonjo alias Fresh Kid are not seeing things in the same way.

As Nakiwala claims that her intentions towards the Kid’s career are good, the seven-year-old feels like the minister is just making his life a living hell, and has threatened to leave Uganda.

“From stop performing….to now I hear mbu I am to be subjected to #drug #test…….@Minister…Don’t force me to leave #Uganda…. I love this Country naye @Minister Ontamiza Uganda” Fresh Kid posted on his social media pages.

Fresh Kid once alleged that Nakiwala is just hiding behind the law, with intentions of sending him back to the village.

However, Nakiwala alleges that she has no problem with Fresh Kid’s talent, but as the Minister concerned with children’s affairs, she only wants to make sure that the Kid’s rights are protected, since at his age he can’t determine what is right or wrong.

And that’s why she is planning to examine Fresh Kid, to find out whether he has not been subjected to drugs, or if his brain growth is not being affected by the stress of preparing for music shows.

Nakiwala claims that she appreciates the talent but doesn’t want Fresh Kid to be used in breaking the law, that’s why she stepped in to provide counseling and guidance.

She also promised not to let the Kid perform again unless his management and parents convince her with a proper work plan that indicates the time he spends in school, sleep, and attends to music.
