Artiste Wycliffe Tugume alias Ykee Benda has developed a strategy to boost his Singa Concert due March 29 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Benda is taking advantage of being a University students’ sweet heart to personally sell off his concert tickets, interact and take selfies with his fans, in a tour he termed ‘Meet and greet’.
With company from nbs Afta5 crew, Benda caused traffic at the Nakawa based Makerere University Business School, leaving campus slay queens with no upkeep as they were all yarning to buy tickets from Benda and also take a selfie with him.
According to sources within, their first tour registered a success, and has motivated Benda to take the tour to all universities around town like Makerere University, Kyambogo, Kampala International University, among others.
With no doubt Ykee Benda is a ‘hot cake’ in the entertainment industry, and with just three years in the music game, he was managed to decorate himself with honors and titles.
From representing Uganda in Coke studio Africa fifth edition, composing the 2018 World Cup Anthem (Colors) alongside America’s top RnB artiste Jason Derulo, to Winning AFRIMA awards 2018 accolade for best breakthrough artiste, Ykee Benda is currently on top of his game.
Benda had his breakthrough in the entertainment industry in 2016 with a club banger ‘Farmer’, where he featured Sheebah, and has currently registered success in his other songs like, Kyekyebula, Amina, Eva, Onabaayo, Superman among others, that have made him one of the best artistes in Uganda currently.
