Kick Boxer Moses Golola and TV personality Anita Fabiola’s closeness is seemly making headlines more that the ongoing Tulambule Northern Uganda Campaign.

This campaign which is meant to tour sites in Acholi and Lango region was flagged off by the Junior Minister of Tourism Godfrey Kiwanda on March 1 at Independence monument, Kampala.

Unlike the previous Tulambule campaigns, the Northern Uganda campaign has seen celebrities from all angles such as comedian Salvador Idringi, media personalities Gaetano Kaggwa and Marcus Kwikiriza, TV personality Anita Fabiola, Miss Uganda UK Peninah Wampamba and Kickboxer Moses Golola grace the tour.

But Fabiola and Golola have out shined in this campaign as they turned selves into tourism attraction.

During their day three excursions, Golola turned this campaign into a ‘Golola-Fabiola thing’ as he (Golola) moved around the trading town carrying Fabiola on his shoulders, showing off his strength and kick boxing techniques, leaving the locals staring at them.

Currently the ‘Golola-Fabiola’ photos are making rounds on social media more than the tourist attraction centre they went to promote.

Fabiola couldn’t miss out on this, as she also took it down on her Instagram and captioned these pictures that “The north is so fun as it looks”.

The Tulambule Pearl of Africa was launched in November last year, and socialite Zari Hassan was unveiled as the campaign’s ambassador during the #TulambuleWesternUganda tour.

In January 2019 during the Tulambule Eastern Uganda, Zari was dropped as Kiwanda appointed Miss Tourism Margaret Kankwazi and Anita Fabiola as the new faces of this campaign.

But after receiving criticisms from social media on why the campaign only had female ambassadors, Kiwanda Appointed male faces for the Northern Uganda campaign as he unveiled, Golola, Salvador, Gaetano, and Marcus.

Kiwanda said these campaigns are meant to publicize all tourist sites in Uganda for local and international market, thus increasing on the rate of tourism.
