While other socialites and so called big spenders spend their money in discotheques and on impressing women, Bryan White together with his foundation seem to be doing some decent work in the community including cultural institutions.
He was a special guest together with his team of artistes and comedians that included Alex Muhangi, Herbert Segujja a.k.a Mendo ‘Museveni’ , Jose Chameleone and his siblings, Morgan Isaac, DJ Michael, Big Eye to mention but a few.
In his speech, the lanky Bryan White whose traditional name is Kirumira from the Ngeye clan said he was honoured to stand in front of the Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga and said he heard the call to all those able to support the inter clan soccer tournament.
As a result he gave 100 balls and 10 million shillings in cash to support the tournament after liaising with the Chairman of the organizing committee. He also pledged to support other activities and functions of the Kingdom wherever there is opportunity.
The Buganda Kingdom Premier and chief guest at the function which was aimed at officially launching the Bika football tournament hinted on four key issues that will make one successful in whatever field be it soccer or the arts which is what the musicians and comedians in the audience practice for a living.
These are creativity, comitment, integrity and passion as the pillars of success and he thanked Bryan White for first of all honouring his culture and also supporting the tournament thus calling upon the rest of the Baganda to attend the first game at St Mary’s stadium Kitende on Saturday that will be officiated by the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.
