Ugandan popular singer Winnie Nwagi left her fans yearning for more after staging a massive performance at railway grounds during the Kampala City Festival on Sunday evening.
The festival was attended by revelers from all corners of Uganda.
Appearing in a non pure white legging and a stripped blouse, Nwagi, together with her queen dancers mimicked fans by cracking jokes, dancing and singing her most popular songs like “Musawo”, ” Magic”, among others.
Other artistes who were present at the function included Irene Ntale, Spice Diana, who also entertained fans. Nwagi also expressed her sorrow and grieve over the death of her producer Danz Kumapesa, before mimicking fans.
On a sad note, many lawless goons used the festival as an avenue to conduct their theft and some other dubious activities. However, the police arrested many of them, in hundreds.
Kampala city festival provides a ground for people to celebrate a lot about Kampala and many facts which distinguish it from other cities in Africa.
The festival attracted many participants from Kampala and other cities in East Africa, performing on six different stages from Kololo airstrip to Kampala road.
It consisted of a programme of over 50 events and activities, ranging from the world of business, sports, entertainment, fashion, cultures, among other fields.
