Moses Kalangwa was made famous by his fights with then lands state minister and MP Kayunga district, Aida Nantaba.
Kalangwa is possibly the biggest single land owner in Kayunga district, with business interests in Jinja and other chunks of land in Mubende district.
Word reaching our desk is that Kalangwa, also Kayunga’s NRM district chairman, has bought the most happening place in Mukono called Satellite Beach. The place has a shopping mall as well as entertainment spot on the rooftop.
Satellite Beach was previously owned by Mukono businessman Kayiwa who also owns City Shoppers supermarket.
It’s not yet clear why Kayiwa sold his most prosperous business, at a yet to be disclosed amount of money. However close friends say Kalangwa talked about billions of shillings. And we are yet to establish why it’s Kalangwa who bought the building among other people.
