Former NTV-Uganda Luganda news anchor Frank Walusimbi has confirmed that he is the new Associate Communications Officer of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Uganda.
“Folks, I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer @UNHCRuganda. For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV,” Walusimbi said a tweet on Sunday.
“Words alone cannot express my gratitude. My new role is spanned by humanitarian work and I invite you to contact us should you have an inquiry about refugee matters. Thank you and best wishes,”he added.
Last month, the media personality resigned his news anchoring job at NTV, after 15 years of service.

The station added, ” Thank you Frank and we wish you the best.”
