My fountain pen has always been one of my best pricessless possessions. I Value it highly; especially for it’s thick nib to unravel periodicals and untold stories yet are visibly seen by many everyday.

The desire to meet people who have impacted the society socially and creatively aroused the writer’s noose onto Silver Kyagulanyi.

Kyagulanyi is a veteran musician, song writer and lawyer.

At Sikia Media Services in Ntinda; I’m so early like an angry lion to be cleared to meet Kyagulanyi.

As a musician, and at the same time juggling legal matters; the writer is so calm in his grey suit at 9am.

The lover of nature, literature and legal matters, the 41 year old Kyagulanyi has laid a solid foundation in Arts and creative industry in Uganda.

It is no crime to say, that he lives in his own creative kingdom and at Sikia, he lives as a Prince in the palace.

The peaceful environment; free from early noise and semantic noise at Sikia, has paved way for Kyagulanyi to impact the lives of youths, men and women in the society through his prowess in music and creative industry.

Before; he starts off the narrative on how the creative industry in the country could eradicate the level of unemployment amongst the youths; Kyagulanyi grabs a glass of water to cool his throat.

From a distance, he moves closer into the living room encircled by legal and long life due books all he has read and benefited out from them before.

To Kyagulanyi, reading and writing are natural gifts. One can be a good reader but lacks writing skills yet still if an individual can posses both then sky is the limit.

Kyagulanyi; somewhat is an introvert. During the morning hours he can create and re-create loads of things in creative world; writing semantics, poems and songs but evening hours are reserved for leisure while playing piano and guitar or even meditating on the earthly matters.

To cut the story short; Kyagulanyi realized his dream as a creative phenomenon in music and poetry work as early as a high school student.

Much as he holds all the requisite and credentials to perform his creative works, Kyagulanyi has been a revelation of Talent.

Sitting down and composing songs and poetrical works has been a natural gift somewhat aroused by Holy Spirit to him.

Kyagulanyi is happy and goes down to sit on divan or lean against the writing table.

Music instruments, creative books and guitar beside him. If one of the three is missing he’s sure to protest.

Altogether, being industrious has given him the potential to dine on tables with talented and business oriented personnel in the county to offer legal advise both in the community and the creative Industry. Kyagulanyi is an encyclopedia on current affairs in the creative and social affairs in the country.

As he moves serenely to showcase how he runs his creative business, Kyagulanyi points on the placards on the notice board all writings of songs. These are neatly and accurately symbolic and written a matter that’s clear to any artist.

He has never before depended on anything if not music and writing songs and creative works to earn a living.

He has written award wining poems, songs and too sung for himself which has all impacted himself and now turning the tide to inspire the young generation.

”If you were to read my pile of letters and creative works one and another, you would certainly be struck by many different moods in which they’re written,” shares a soft-spoken Kyagulanyi.

Kyagulanyi is a parent, with three children and gets time to serve his family purposes too.

Kyagulanyi is as plain as moving river water to share how most of his creative works has been a subject of revelation to his life.

The songs both gospel and romantic genres are mostly personal experience.

This has worked miracles for him too to impact the youths and people surrounding him in the society.

For the creative works, Kyagulanyi says impacting the society is a must. Whatever one is going through in the spiritual and creative world, someone else too must be coursing through the same situation.

Life altogether is a subject of share and bonding to solve challenges and impediments a society might be coursing through.

It is a lovely weather outside and I’ve quite perked up my writing pad. From my favourite spot on the floor I look up at the blue sky and the bare huts on the left before I’m fascinated to look at the cars assembled in the parking yard on the right.

All these wealth have been a subject of total dedication and sufferings though gifts of continuous mediation on earthly things in the creative world.

”Music can heal the wounds and at the same time it can stablise the community. Poems too can change the lives of people in the community socially, culturally and economically if well guided and guarded. To me; all are a blessing from God,” notes Kyagulanyi.

He shares that contrary  to his usual custom, he will for once write more fully about love. Though still he is predestined to serve his purpose on earth by uniting people and preaching patriotism amongst the creative community.

”If you’re a team, you can be Masters of your audience. You see, few years ago, I started Civic online Television mostly to showcase whatever is happening in the community via online. The creative world today has adopted modern technology and if one is to impact the society he or she must go Digital,” Kyagulanyi adds.

The Civic Television (CTV) which the latter ponders about is a super news of invasion in all beats of Journalism but mostly breathtaking stories that impact our societies.

It is currently ran by a competent team in the creative world though he remains the Team leader.

Kyagulanyi says at Sikia Media Services and creative family; they’re hoping to see something out of the world and do all kinds of exciting and inspiring things and all their services are subjected to negotiations.

”The economy has never been stable. Trace the historical tales of enterprenuers and masters of creative works like Shakespeare. In the creative way of doing business, it is condemned to be static in your charges,” shared a smiling Kyagulanyi when asked on charges of a written song.

At this moment, Kyagulanyi’s head is haunted by so many wishes and thoughts, accusations and reproaches.

” I’m really not as conceited as so many people seem to think. I know my own faults and shortcomings better than anyone, but the difference is that I also know that I want to improve, shall improve and Law fraternity have already improved a great deal in me,” The singer of Ekyamagero loosely translated as a Miracle song acknowledged.

As we traverse through his Sikia studios, amazing done with potential and capability and capacity to offer tranquil slot for creative works, the mood has changed conversely.

Everything is going on wonderfully and serenely music is heard from the booth.

A small dark room containing pianos and several music instruments leads to a small somewhat well littered second office.

All these are rooms for creative works. They’re all mulled well with woods to offer tranquil place and home for the writer.

It is the teamwork, energy and team cohesion that has walked Kyagulanyi to this far including crafting songs Anakusigula with artist; Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine to mention but a few.
