Florence Nakiwala Kiyinji, Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs has given out maize seeds to the youth in Bukomansimbi district today to help promote agriculture.
Kiyinji gave out more than one thousand sacks of maize seeds to the youth to start planting this season.
She advised the youth to start taking farming serious because it’s the back bone of Uganda’s income and it’s a good business to invest in.
Nakiyingi further added that the government is going to keep giving youth seeds to plant in order to help them improve their financial status.
In the near future the youth will also be educated about how to start businesses in order to avoid the misuse of their money.
