Star Habiibz Poised for Major Shift in Ugandan Media Scene

Is he joining Next Media or Galaxy FM 100.2?

The well-known MC and TV/radio host Mwesigye Habibu famously known as Star Habiibz is preparing for a revolutionary period of change in a daring move that will drastically alter his media career.

Habiibz, who is well-known for his captivating personality and creative approach to entertainment, is preparing to roll out a number of ground-breaking innovations that should enthral spectators nationwide.

This big change goes beyond content and includes a complete makeover of his shows and hosting approach to increase viewer and listener engagement and redefine his figure as an includible MC.

A wise man once remarked, “There is no smoke without fire.” Since Star Habiibz parted ways with the Kawaala-based ABS TV, rumours have swirled about his next professional venture.

Dubbed “The Emperor of Showbiz,” Habiibz is speculated to be on the brink of joining one of Uganda’s premier media houses. Some suggest he might transition from television to radio. Our investigative correspondent has gathered reliable information to elucidate the veracity of these rumours.

Confidential sources reveal that Star Habiibz has been frequently observed visiting the Kansanga-based radio station, Galaxy FM 100.2, at all hours. Covert surveillance cameras have captured these visits, lending credence to the speculations.

Moreover, Star Habiibz’s activity on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) has been telling. His posts frequently reference Galaxy FM, hinting at a possible collaboration.

Adding intrigue, a photograph of Star Habiibz with Next Media TV host Sandra Lian has been circulating online. The “Emperor of Showbiz” has hinted at a potential future partnership between the two in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, during a recent corporate soccer event at the Old Kampala Secondary School playground, Star Habiibz assured some of his fellow alumni from the Nganwa Football League that they would soon hear his voice or see his face on one of the country’s most prominent media platforms.

Renowned for his exceptional talent and dedication, he has garnered numerous accolades including Best EMCEE of the Year from the East Africa Makerere University Association and Best Presenter of the Year from Utisi Media.

His vibrant career spans roles as a TV and radio host, a sought-after MC for high-profile events, and a dedicated brand influencer.
