For the last couple of days, social media has been awash with images of celebrity couple -Rema Namakula and Hamza Sebunya on a Dubai holiday.

Singer Rema and husband Dr Hamza are out of the country to celebrate the former’s birthday and this has deservedly given social media in laws reason to endlessly debate over couple’s enviable love.

Away from the birthday glamour however, this news website can authoritatively state that Hamza and Mama Amal have bought a multi million shillings hospital in Jinja.

Almeca Hospital is the facility the duo have paid for. It is located in Kyamaggwa village Mafubira Sub County in the heart of Jinja City.

Formerly, Almeca was owned by social philanthropist cum politician Nelson Lufafa. Lufafa is the outgoing MP for Butembe (now Jinja North) but was defeated by Forum for Democratic Change’s David Isabirye Aga.

We have also established that Hamza and wife coughed over Shs800 million to get hold of the hospital.

Speaking to a local YouTube channel, Mr Ssebunya confirmed the news and said it should not surprise anybody for he has always been a businessman. He also argued that since health is the field he understands most, the decision to buy Ameca was an easy one to make.

He also said the hospital will in the near future specialize in child maternal health.
