As part of her work to promote tourism initiatives, reigning Miss Tourism Elma Kapel Challa visited the Parliament of Uganda.
During the tour, she visited the office of the Speaker, and held discussions with Rebecca Kadaga, one of the great proponents of Ugandan culture.

Elma was recognized at the Ugandan Parliament by legislators who caught a glimpse of the beauty queen who hails from Karamoja region.
After meeting Speaker Kadaga, Elma visited different parts of the Ugandan Parliament.

Kadaga promised to support Miss Tourism Uganda initiative which she says promotes the country’s image through ambassadors who hold the flag, and carries responsibility for being the face and voice for Ugandan tourism attractions and potential. Elma is also the Ugandan representative for the incoming Miss Heritage Universe Competitions scheduled for July.
