Traditional healers/Witchdoctors in Uganda

Lately no one dies because of sickness or Natural causes, everyone is either bewitched, poisoned or there is some foul play.

There is a new religion that worships witchcraft and the devil literally.

Even in the highest of offices witchcraft is worshipped now!

Young men and women wake up very early in the morning to these churches where Pastors tell them that all their undoing, failure is because of some ancestral curse or bondage by their great grandparents or parents.

Apparently our fore fathers or mothers who dearly loved us, left abondage and tonnes of curses holding us back. Now they are our enemies.

Our parents are now the enemies of their grand children!

These folks expect money in their pockets without labor, they expect a Visa in their passports without ajourney and application form.

Some how they will get acar or ahouse or they will be married if only they break their generation curse.

Failure to get the above is because the spirits are holding them back or because their step mother, aunt, mother in law is bewitching them terribly.

The ladies spend weeks in church without a bath, with smelly hair and foul breath but the pastor convinces them that their last boyfriend left them because his other girlfriend bewitched him not because they smell like a hyena.

They have no jobs because some senga or co wife is smoking apipe on them but dont recall when they last revised their CVs or got a new skill.

The ones married leave their homes to maids to molest their children and have homes run down.

When they come home to sick children with infections they truly confirm what the pastor told them about some demon sucking life out of their children not whether they were bathed, washed hands before meals or even if they were fed.

When astray black cat falls in your compound for some garbage left overs then the pastor’ tales of some co wife planning to finish you off are really confirmed and you need to spend another week at church paying tithes, offerings to break the curse or witchcraft.

When a arat is seen by the house gal crossing the kitchen to pick some poorly disposed left overs then surely your mother in law is bent on finishing you up.

When your shirt or socks disappear or stolen by the househelp then surely someone is taking your clothes to finish you off.

A torn bedsheet or pant is true manifestation of why you feel drowsy even when you only slept for 2 hrs having spent anight listening to your pastor or in church!

When abeautiful colorful bird comes in the morning to sing or fight its reflection in your nice bedroom window then kabisa the marriage is doomed because its carrying loads of juju according to some thug called pastor.

When ants climb Afridge to take some sugar to their young then these are a clear manifestation of spirits that must be prayed and fasted away.

These devil worshippers have created so much fear in their followers and in so doing exalted the devil instead of focusing on salvation and the the healing blood of Jesus as we were brought up.

Marriages are breaking up because a partner asked to try out a new style or idea in their bedroom. Such a partner is demon possessed and evil. He is a vessel of the devil.

Homes are empty as young mothers and young men run to thieving churches for miracles without any effort in changing their circumstances.

Droves of young single mothers between their mid thirties and forties fill these churches where they have been told their ex husband or boyfriend was stolen or left because they were bewitched or bse of some generational curse.

None is told the fact that he could have left because of your terrible personal hygiene, laziness, quarreling or how you treated his mother or family. According to the pastor it’s all because of generation curses.

In the end we have a lazy, useless, superstitious generation that believes in success without hardwork, good health without medical care, homes without parents and a people that blame others for all their personal failures.

For the marrieds it’s worse when you cant see all these acts of the devil around you as seen by your spouse it means you are either equally possessed or part of the witchcraft.

They buy litres and liters of cooking oil or olive oil which they pour on everything and their fore heads to sanitize their environment.

The pastors keep making akilling from selling their oils, books, recordings on how to break the curses and witchcraft.

Homes are rotting away, children left at the mercy of maids as mothers are wailing in churches lifting hands for miracles.

Shockingly even the well Educated have fallen for these scams and we stand threatened with a generational crisis.

What happened to faith and believing in God who is above all these acts?

People literally even in Politics have given the devil and witchcraft such a podium that threatens the church and society.

For the marrieds if you are unlucky and these failed marrieds recruit your dear your wife or husband in these horror skits, plan to count your losses. This is ajourney of no return. Its worse than drugs.

People now fear offices, when acar that was last serviced 3 yrs ago breaks down in jam then it’s her cowife or step mother. Jesus!

We need to wake up as a society and fight this cancer that is slowly eating away our generation.

Meanwhile the folks that colonized us, carried out slave trade, the holocaust and all other crimes are thriving in first class Economies without generational curses from their evil forefathers.

Its ours who suffered at their hands that instead left us generational curses!

Total idiocy at its peak!
