Never allow anyone to put you in a position of depression and self pity

By Faridah Nakazibwe

The easiest way to a miserable life is to think everybody is talking about you. Learn to ignore and overlook many things if you want happiness in life.

Don’t be too sensitive the whole world can’t be talking about you. Some of us have been in news for two years, Stop worrying yourself about what people say about you because it is none of your business as long as you are being true to yourself and your God.

No matter your situation in life people will always talk. You can never stop people from talking about you, what you can do is to stop giving them what to talk about. Sometimes minding your own business won’t keep people out of your “business,.Because some have no mind and others have no business” If no one has never hated or talked bad about you means nothing is happening in your life. Haters sometimes will spread bad stories about you but there is a time limit for every rumor in life. Never allow haters to put your life on hold. One of life greatest mistakes is trying to please everybody. Nobody has ever succeeded in doing that. Do what makes you happy. When people can’t be like you, they start talking about you.

When you refuse to be a victim, you become a target. When they can’t be like you, they start to condemn what you have. Haters without money will sarcastically say money is not everything in life. (Is poverty anything?). Never allow anyone to put you in a position of depression and self-pity. The dream of a sadist is for everybody to be miserable in life.

Never feel bad when old friends become new enemies. They are just tired of acting painfully like enemies as friends. Never allow the opinions of people who didn’t see your tears stop your laughter in life. You don’t owe anybody an explanation to be happy, but be honest with yourself and your God. Never derive your own happiness from other people’s sadness in life. Never bring out tears from other people’s eyes to put a smile on your face because…whatever goes around surely comes back around.

Lastly.
The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.

Like crying wolf, if you keep looking for sympathy as a justification for your actions, you will someday be left standing alone when you really need help.
