Former Residents District/City Commissioners (RDCs/RCCs ) have requested President Yoweri Museveni to deploy them in other security sectors like Internal Security Organization (ISO) or External Security Organization (ESO).
In a letter dated 5th April, 2022, the Executive Committee members of the National Former RDCs and RCCs Association (FORCA) asked the President to give them audience (meeting) where they will discuss with him several issues concerning their well-being.
“The purpose of our meeting among others is to discuss with you as our appointing authority and seek for an alternative deployment in other security sectors ie ISO/ESO or so,”said Richard Andama,the Chairman of FORCA.
“Your Excellency Sir, we also seek for a resettlement package of at least UGX 100,000,000 (One hundred million shillings) and we request if possible it should be paid at once not in halves so that we can be able to cover our loans and other debts we have.”
Mr Andama further asked President Museveni to offer support to their association SACCO which will enable them venture into commercial agriculture and value addition.
“Your Excellency Sir, our Association shall be immensely used to mobilize wanainchi through SACCO and enable sustainability and continuity of RDCs and RCCs who are already dropped,” Mr Andama, the former Yumbe RDC stated.
