The Executive Director of Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU) Gideon Badagawa has passed on.
Mr Badagawa passed away on Monday morning at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
“The Board, Management and Staff of the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU), with deep sorrow regret to announce the untimely death of their Executive Director, Mr. Gideon Badagawa, who passed away this morning Monday June 21st, 2021, in Mulago Hospital,” Dr Elly Karuhanga, PSFU Board of Directors said in a statement today.
Dr Karuhanga further revealed that the deceased’s wife Mrs. Susan Birungi Badagawa have also been battling for her life alongside her husband in hospital and only last week she lost her father to Covid-19.
“The family has kindly requested that we and the general public keep the two deaths confidential in order for their mother to pull through without any shocks until further notice.
” We pray for the family and the private sector during this hard time.”
