Police in Mbale is holding two people over murder of a 26 year old man in a political related rivalry.
The suspects Wembatira Nasul and Matanga Alex allegedly waylaid Khabala Kelvin, and stabbed him to death using a pang.
The Elgon region police spokesperson Rogers Taitika said that the murder happened Bumboi in the same sub-county in Mbale district.
It’s alleged the suspects killed the deceased for supporting a rival candidate in Mbale Local Council 5 race.
