Renowned social media blogger Ashburg Katto has said that he will never forgive himself for allowing People Power leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to brainwash him for all the time he supported him.
The blogger who recently crossed to National Resistance Movement (NRM) from People Power movement said that he spent a lot of time doing nothing in opposition yet the ruling party was his calling.
“NRM is a very interesting party with good people who welcome everyone. Imagine I abused them for over 12 years but when I decided to join them they welcomed me happily and forgave me everything,” he said during an interview with one of the local media houses recently.
Katto further revealed that he never got anything good from People Power apart from abuses.
“I would not support anyone to join People Power as of now, the opposition’s main ideology is to brainwash young people and baptise them with hatred,” adding that the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine was wrong to say that they betrayed him because of money.
“Me and Full Figure we were People Power strongholds so when we left Bobi Wine felt so bad that is why he spent his weekend show singing about us. Yes, we left him and People Power is no more.”
Katto added that Bobi Wine is only good at stage performance but not politics.
“Bobi Wine is a ragamuffin, he must concentrate on singing and I’m going to plead for him before President Museveni to allow him back on stage. I have also embarked on a ‘campaign Bobi back on stage. Because that is his calling, let him leave politics to President Museveni.
“There is no reason why we have to change, As of now let’s leave him (President Yoweri Museveni) to lead us because there are many countries behind us in terms of development.”
